Did you receive a cup style rain chain design with the cups and top wires detached? Don't worry! This clever packaging choice ensures a safer delivery with less chance of damage. Your rain chain parts are ready and waiting for you to assemble and enjoy!
Here's a step-by-step guide on assembling your cup style rain chain:

The wires at the base of the cups are fixed in place, while the connecting wires for the tops of each cup are detachable.

If your rain chain includes threaded nuts, remove them from a connecting wire (skip if your chain does not include threaded nuts).

Thread the wire through the small holes at the top of a cup.

Reattach the nuts securely onto the wire to form your first cup. If you live in cold weather consider using Loctite® Blue adhesive.

For the next cup, pass another wire through the base of the first cup.

Remove the nuts from the wire.

Guide the wire through the small holes in the top of the second cup.

Replace and tighten the nuts at the wire's end.

Repeat these steps to add more cups until your rain chain reaches the desired length.

When assembling your rain chain, it is advisable to use Loctite® Blue adhesive on the nuts for a more secure hold, particularly in windy or cold areas and for rain chains longer than 10 feet. Loctite® can be purchased at most hardware or home improvement stores. This adhesive product will effectively fasten the nut in place while still allowing for easy removal when needed.
